Dreamjar fetches its fifth win at India’s Best Design Awards 2022.

This one had tails wagging.
After quite a few years of award editions being announced online, the India’s Best Design Awards returned as a physical event this year. The last in-person ceremony was held in 2019, so being back at the ceremony at Ritz-Carlton, Pune marked a long-awaited return.
Three of us attended this time. There were familiar faces, new conversations, and the kind of energy that comes from being around the design community again. During the evening, our project The Doggy Bakery received the award for Brand Identity Design at IBDA 2022.
With this, our count at IBDA moved to five wins in five years.

What we baked.
The Doggy Bakery is a Bengaluru-based bakery for dogs, focused on healthy food and the relationship between pets and their parents. We worked on a brand identity that addressed both audiences from the start, dog parents and dogs themselves.
The visual system was designed around how dogs perceive colour, using high-contrast tones such as yellow and blue, while remaining warm and approachable for humans. This approach shaped the logo, colour palette, and overall visual language, creating a brand that felt clear, friendly, and consistent across touchpoints.
