We’re excited to welcome Rebecca Shaw as Special Advisor on the Board.
A highly respected leader in the Australian sports industry, Rebecca has built impact early and consistently. Her career spans marketing, communications, events, and sport governance, underpinned by strong leadership across teams, organisations, and large-scale initiatives.
Her journey includes roles with the Brisbane Lions, GWS Giants, and Netball NSW, followed by her appointment as CEO of Little Athletics NSW. Rebecca is currently the CEO of Gymnastics NSW, where she continues to lead strategic and operational growth at scale.
Rebecca brings a rare balance of strategic thinking and operational clarity. She is known for offering sharp perspective and practical guidance, helping leadership teams turn ideas into outcomes. Her experience covers event marketing and delivery, media and communications, membership and ticketing, sponsorship, fundraising, and organisational leadership.
A long-time champion of Dreamjar, Rebecca has believed in the quality of our work well before joining the Board. She has supported and advocated for Dreamjar across multiple sports and organisations, making her perspective especially valuable as we continue to grow and evolve as a studio. We’re glad to have Rebecca’s insight, energy, and guidance as part of our journey.
